About This Project

Juan Delola, guitarist and composer born in Marbella (Málaga) in 1979, has his beginnings linked to the pop/rock world. Later on, he began to play flamenco, an art for which he was already curious and admired years ago and soon began to work and perform in tablaos, peñas and festivals, highlighting his work in the veteran tablao from Malaga Ana María. After years of working in the accompaniment of singing and dancing, travelling all over Spain and in different countries, he decided to start a personal project based on his way of seeing music, halfway between instrumental and sung (with collaborations) and full of sounds and nuances acquired throughout his career. In 2008 sees the light of his first album Anhelo, a flamenco guitar album with pop/rock touches that evolves live towards a flamenco-rock style with an original and innovative staging, making a tour with the main bands of mestizaje of the moment. In 2011 and under the executive, artistic and musical production of the artist himself, he launches to the market just for tonight. In this new album, he tackles the sounds of rock and flamenco with amazing naturalness and simplicity, in which he has the collaboration of legendary Andalusian rock stars such as Pepe Roca (Alameda), El Manglis (Guadalquivir), Antoñito Rodríguez (Smash) or Nono García, achieving the recognition and approval of the great public and specialized critics. A born rocker and adopted flamenco musician, Juan Delola is a versatile musician who has been able to perform alongside artists such as José El Francés, Bernardo Vázquez, Domingo Ortega, Erpeche, Alameda, Nono García, El Falo, Ángel Garó, La Lupi, La Cañeta, Chandé, among many others.
